A little something

I've been slacking something, horrible... I have good reasonings though... I've been busy, we've had some braxton hicks, and are just getting over the 24 hr flu... so here are just a small few to catch you up.

Our birthday girl, fast asleep from a day of fun, snuggled up with the doll she HAD to have... I wondered if it was just the new toy factor... however it turned out to be soo much more than that!



A bit after her birthday and when things settled down we had Jade's birthday party and she had a crazy, wonderful time at Chuck E Cheese... we came home that nite and she was so amped up that she pulled out all her toys and played with them. When bed time came, she wanted to sleep in her "castle" surrounded by all her new toys.. it was precious. After two nights in the "castle" I realized I may not be able to get her out of it, so we built the "castle" around her bed and she LOVES it!

The sun has been out, the weather nice and warm, and so we've been spending lots of time outside in the yard, especially in the sandbox!



Certainly not one to pass up the opprotunity to pass up a photo opp in front of an entirely pink tree Jade LOVED this tree. However, after a little holiday decorating shopping with my mother in law and the discussion of how I might decorate the tree, I am starting to wonder if Jade's much anticipated input is going to color our tree pink.... as she has reminded me 4 times already today that it is her FAVORITE color....
Sadly I've come to realize that a new camera is in our future, from the whole day this is the only pic that actually turned out... my camera was giving me problems all that day, but I didn't think it would actually affect the quality of the pics... fortunately this pic is cute. :D



More pictures will come, with my camera acting up, I haven't gotten many taken, and the ones that I did take, didn't turn out... seems the camera decides when it wants to work...lol

Here's just a few pictures from the things that have been going on... it's not much but it's what I have for the meantime.

Though we've endured recent loss the blessing was seeing Dase and Jess.... we had the joy of keeping them all to ourselves, during that time we had alot of fun however, we have very few pictures. I don't know how they'll wake up without hearing Jade running around calling them endlessly and the good-byes are always draining... But seeing them was a relief to my spirit and a joy to my heart...I miss them soo much...

The Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday, but you wouldn't know it, because somehow I managed to take pictures of everything but Jade with the pumpkins.
Big suprise huh? haha

Before picking out her pumpkin, we took this pic and it makes me laugh everytime. I love this picture! The only thing our trip lacked was a picture of Jade carrying her pumpkin..... ahh well, maybe next time.As for prego pictures...I've just about given up on it happening.. haha

It's a.........

It's a BOY!!!!!
I'm still in shock! I'm not quite used to being right.. haha
We are sooo excited and Jade has grown to love the idea as well. She walks around the house telling me now, "Mom I'm going to have a baby brother." Each time she says it she stands and waits with baited breath hoping to suprise me... it's pretty cute.
I wish my scanner was working and I'd post my black and white pics for you... then again not everyone can make out an arm from the body in those pics so maybe it's not that bad.. hehe
Once I have it up and running there will be a picture. But for now at least we have the information out.
We are in the deliberation process of names.. there are two on the table and we'll see who wins out.. if Jade is the deciding factor though, I think I'm at a loss.

Hats and Jersey's

Well tonight we had to move our room around, the last few nights we've been hearing this staticy buzzing noise.. turns out the noise was coming from the electrical box and since the noise is the result of a wiring issue... we rearranged the room to be "safer".
In the process my little girl, being the big helper she is came upon a box of my hats and wanted to try them on and play with them. It was certainly a memory I'll cherish.. while she was playing around I asked her if I could take her picture with mommy's hat on, she said " oh yes!"
I went and got my camera and came back to her posing... it was precious and adorable.. yet a bit worrisome... regardless the pics were sooo cute I couldn't just share the story and not share a few pics.

And though the Charger's made me cry on Sunday.. yes I said cry... it has to be the hormones! I was so upset that they lost when they so easily could have won, I cried... regardless... we are always certain to support our team with screaming, shouting and of course.. apparel. I kept intending to get a picture of us... and I still managed to forget.. because.. what do you know someone is missing from the pic... gee I wonder who that might be?!
Let's see if you can figure it out.. to help you out, P has Gates' jersey, I have LT's and we of course have our little cheerleader... soooo let's see how many ppl can tell who is missing from this adorable picture... hmm now that I think of it we're going to have to get our new baby a jersey too! :D



All that said.. there will be a post tomorrow... especially for those waiting with baited breath to see what the new baby will be.. however considering the crazy day that has been planned it may take me til' Thursday to get it up...

Our little Ham

What can I say... she's a ham!
Phil brought home the cutest Guam shirt for Jade after visiting one of our favorite restaurants. She immediately had to wear her new shirt. After waking around for a little bit, she decided she needed to take a picture. She brought me her pretend camera and had me snap away. She turned to me and said " Oh no.... there's no picture" Implying how her camera is not at all like our digital one, so I took out our camera and took some pictures which she was insistend upon posing for, sadly it came out a little blurry.. but it's a cute picture regardless.

That night Jade fought sleep tooth and nail, she was doing well in her room and when I went to check her to make sure she was asleep, I found her sleeping contendly... however she wasn't on her bed.


Yesterday, Jade's friend Ruth came over and as they were playing in the yard I caught them being as adorable as could be runnign around holding hands playing... little girls are soo much fun!

Because of my Favorite Frese

Well today went along like most any day, that is with the exception that I was running late... all morning. I managed to get Jade out of the house, I didn't really care what I looked like... I just had to get out and get my errands done...before I forgot. I've been so forgetful this pregnancy, it's awful. Needless to say my Doctor gave me paperwork for "routine bloodwork" which I think is just because when you're prego they find it more fun to poke you with a needle every other month. Well apparantly my Doctor gave me this paperwork and I was supposed to have been the lab's pin cushion in early September. With a semi stern look, the Doctor told me, I HAD to get it done no later than today.
So rushing Jade out the door, I wanted to get to the lab before the second drop off... yes I've been so many times to this lab that I've determined the drop off hours. At about 7 am the elderly people rush the lab, around 10 the bussiness people show up and get put out having to wait, by 11:30 there is another rush of elderly people, these however are the ones that need a little more attention and can make the waiting room a whole lot of fun, especially with Jade in the room! So the plan was to get there after the early risers and before the put out bussinessmen that wait reluctantly. All this to say... I ran into a dear friend who I hadn't seen in ages! She's pry reading this now, laughing that it took me sooo long to get to the point. I can see Tiff shaking her head at me, thinking... " she's rambling... haha not much has changed." My brother has scrolled past all the babble just to see pictures.. I don't blame him. hehe
In those moments we had, she turns to me and says, " You never update your blog!" I was amazed! Someone other than Tiff, my mom and my brother actually looked at this?! I think I might have even gone speechless for a moment! Sooo LONG story short... oh wait.. it's too late for that isn't it? I'm attempting to turn over the new leaf and update more often :D
So without more babble here are some pics from our weekend.
I was hoping to have more, however Phil was struggling with the camera this weekend and though we went to the Baseball game and watched history happen before our eyes, he didn't think there was a need for pictures... so he left the camera at home. I'm going to have to sneak attack with the camera from now on I think.

A Disney Wedding

The start of the Disney wedding we went to some theme parks... imagine that... sadly enough not many of the pics turned out... most of the ones that did.. I'm not in... haha reagardless, we had a blast and the trip is one of my fondest memories. I don't have all the wedding pictures.. still :(
Since Jade and I were in it, I didn't actually take many pictures... so it's slim pickings.. however there's no doubt how absolutely adorable Jade was.


Our first day there we went to the Animal Kingdom for Dasan's birthday... here my mom caught me making a face...

The following day we were at the Magic Kingdom which is remarkably alot like Disneyland with the exception that it's HUGE... actually I think everything there was larger.....well everything but the Tiki Room.. haha

The next day we had our rehersal... who doesn't love the rehersal? Not to forget we had the most amazing dinner afterwards at the Polynesian Resort. Sadly you can't see it, but behind Dasan and Jessica, Cinderella's castle can be seen prominently through the window.




The Happy Couple on the wedding day, after a long day... they were up at 4 and in the park at 6 for pictures in the park... which are unbelievable and beautiful!

Well it's certainly been awhile and to say the least.. it's not been without lots of hiccups along the way... for one.. I have NO intention of sitting in front of a computer while the heat rages on out here... today it was 110... and we go to Florida next week... gee I can't wait.. LOL
Actually, I can't and neither can Jade... we're dying to see our family and of course seeing the "Mouse's BIG house" doesn't hurt either. hehehe
Anyways.. on with the pics that everyone is dying to see.
