Love, love, love

So I don't have many pictures of just Hunter... and I realized there weren't many pics posted with me in them...usually because I'm on the other side of the camera trying to capture every adorable thing these two kiddos do. So here are a few pics of Hunter and I all of which were taken late at night, usually on nights when it seemed like just the two of us, Jade fast asleep and Phil out on a guy's night or busy away on the computer... haha


I can't help it.. he's adorable and I can't stop kissing on him... all the pictures we have with me in it.. I'm doing this.. haha

Here we were playing on the floor and he was completely taken with the elephant until I got out the camera...


After all that playing on the floor it was time for more cuddling... he's just so sweet it's impossible to think of doing anything else.

Yesterday, I set Hunter down in the bouncy seat to finish up the birth announcements and of course I was distracted... Jade came over and was hugging him, so I had to get the camera out.. camera out, Jade smiles, then comes around to look at the picture I took. She sees the picture and responds with an "aww, so cute, but Mommy he's touching my armpit..." so we retook the picture.. but because of what she said.. this one is my favorite.. haha

Jade has always enjoyed picking out her clothes, however lately she has taken the responsibility seriously and doesn't like to have any influence. She came in the other morning with a pair of striped shorts, flowered stretch pants and a flowered shirt.... I asked her if she wanted to wear all that and she did... until she realized she had both shorts and pants.. so she decided to go with the pants because they had flowers on them... thereby matching flowers with flowers.
We planted some flower seeds later that day and here are the pics of Jade so well dressed, planting seeds with Daddy.

Yesterday Jade was a little more fashionably dressed with a striped tank top and a felt flower jacket my Mom's friend gave to her. She made sure she posed so that we could appreciate the stripes... such a thinker she is!

A day out of the house

So we were dying to get out and about last week.... with our growing family and a little man who dirties diapers faster than I fall asleep.. things have been tight.. so we've been saving our gas for family days where we can all get out in the nice sunshine. Of course we had to go to Sea World, so here are a few pics...

With all that sun, we realized the kids needed hats....

Jade does her own styling... just a shame that her big grin is hidden by the position of that elbow..

He doesn't really care what he looks like in a hat.. he knows he's cute.


Watching "Shamu" swim with Daddy, Jade realized Hunter needed to see "Shamu" closer than he was.. since he had never seen "Shamu" before..

Jade hamming it up, Phil doing the dad thing, and no Hunter's not asleep.. he's too busy looking at the light reflecting in the water to think he needs to respond to the camera.
Exhausted and worn out from a long day of walking, running, fun and Shamu... I sit for a rest...
