Why sit in a chair?

Well Jade has developed this intense fixation for sitting in things that weren't meant to be sat in.... I have no idea where it came from, she certainly has a mind of her own and is loving every moment as she is on that precarious edge of 2 .. ( TWO, TWo, Two, two, two two...) did you hear that echo?! I know it's gonna be a ton more fun than I might even be prepared for.
So she woke up this morning deciding, how much fun it would be to sit in odd places.... taking full advantage of us being sick, we stayed in pajamas.. yes ALL day.. and it was glorious.... well aside from the fact that we are sick :(
Regardless, Jade found that it is more fun to not sit in her chair or lounge on the couch as she does when watching the Muppets.. but to empty the book basket and to sit in it.


I was struck by how odd this is.. as she is so squished in the little basket. She sat there for a good ten minutes before moving on...


This is proof that a toddler can empty a toy drawer, climb inside with their favorite stuffed animal of the moment and do so within the amount of time it took you, to run to the bathroom pull a bear fuzzy out of your eye that you got while playing hide and seek with your toddler who thought it would be fun to bury herself under a pile of pillows and one very furry bear on the couch. If only I could blame it on how massively large our home is....
