Mommy likes to put things on my head....

Mommy seems to think I like being dressed up, she also seems to be quite fond of things she can put on my head...


Can someone please tell her to at least end the humiliation by not posting the pictures?
And can you people please stop sending her ideas.....

A Spare moment

I don't know how much sleep I've lost recently... however Jade seems to believe she's lost just as much.. each time we see someone we know she is apt to relay to them that baby Hunter wakes her up very early... this week she "fell asleep" in a new and unusual position that just required me to take a picture...

Yes, he's propped up.. but you can't deny the picture is adorable! One of my new favorite's that is for sure...

That's all I've got for now.. time is limited and you know who is waking up .....

15 minutes doesn't look like much here...

My favorite three.... even though not everyone is looking, I still think it's an adorable picture!

We went to the beach, saw some seals, and came home to realize I didn't get a single picture :(
So I had to take one of him in his overalls.... just because of how cute he was.


So what looks like a 5 second post took me 15 minutes... ah well.. it's something... LOL

A little something

So I havne't much time... which means that I don't have the time nor the energy to go through all the pics we've taken so I'll just grab a few from the grab bag of my folder and toss them up here and if there are spelling errors .... my sincerest apologies.. however I don't think I'll catch anything seeing as I'm awfully tired.

Picture #3 : Not only my favorite picture in the bunch it's also my desktop.. haha.... I love the fact that she's completely happy, smiling and unaware to him sticking his tongue out... Sibling love... starts out so young! HAHA I'm positive my mom has a pic just like this of Dase and I.



Picture #4: Look who can juggle an 11 pound baby (yes that's right... a pound a week so far.. haha) and manage to take a semi decent photo! HAHA....
I had an adorable pic of the kids and Phil but he didn't agree it was adorable... haha oh well.. maybe next time..

So it's been awhile....

It's been awhile... a long while as a matter of fact! The last few months I've been too busy preparing for Hunter that I never really found the time to get my camera fixed and post anything new here. Now that I have even less time it's taken me about 4 days to actually get myself online long enough to accomplish this much, and at this point... I'm already missing my nap! haha
So here's the low down.. for those of you who choose not to read and are really only here for the pics... scroll down and dismiss this random babbling... It was early Monday morning and I woke up with pains, figured it would go away but when I realized these pains had me up every 3-7 minutes, I realized there could be more to this than just pain. I prayed to God, asking him for one more full night of sleep.... three minutes later I realized.. this wasn't going to happen. I went and woke up Phil, it had already been a long day for all of us, I came down with an awful cold about 3 days prior that was getting worse. Matter of fact my fever had just broken about an hour before the pain began. So, I woke up my poor husband, who only had about 30 minutes sleep and called my parents to have them come out so that my girl could sleep through the night without being woken up. The contractions were intense and so much stronger than I had remembered with Jade that I kind of just thought that maybe I was being a big baby about the whole contractions thing... seeing as they had just started up for about 30 minutes or so. My parents arrived, it was pouring rain outside and all I wanted was to get this baby out...NOW! Phil was happy and excited all he wanted to talk about was how exciting it would be that we would be seeing our new addition to the family soon and all I wanted was for him to drive faster, slow down over the bumps, not talk to me, hold my hand, don't touch my stomach, count when I'm having contractions, don't tell me I'm doing good... tell me it will be over soon, and beyond all else get me to the hospital! The poor guy... I don't know if he was expecting it to move that fast but he was wonderful. We finally arrived at the hospital an hour and a half after all this pain had begun, they admitted me and between my contractions they gave me the good news... I wasn't a baby! I was having a baby, certainly but I was in transition.... what do you know?! No wonder I never had that pain with Jade, they took us back for the emergency c section before I could even get to 3 and here I was at almost 8!!! So, I felt a tad better until it became clear that the on call Doctor didn't want to do my c section and was going to let me labor it out until my Dr came in... which she did... a half an hour early.. however that meant that even with the epidural they gave me to "slow down" my progress (which it didn't) I had 3 hours to go..
Finally they took me back did the procedure and out came the most adorable little man I've ever laid my eyes on. On Febuary 19th at 7:21 in the morning we were the proudest parents of the cutest guy around. A whole 20 and 3/4 inches weighing in at 8lbs and 13 oz!!!! I never thought it would have been possible for me to have an 8pound baby...let alone one who was so close to being 9 pounds~ but boy are my back and hips thankful to not have to carry him anymore. haha
Now 11 days old he's already grown almost 2 inches and is well over 9 pounds!
