Is that a......... ??

Today we went in for a follow up ultrasound to make sure our little man is growing on target. Fortunately we had the best Ultrasound Tech there today, and she made sure we went home with a TON of pictures. I'd insert a photo here, so that you can start trying to figure the black and white pictures of confusion.. but I've yet to hook up my scanner... I know.. I"m a winner :P
The appointment went well, he was in a great position, to see most everything we needed to see, however more importantly he's not only measuring on schedule but a few days ahead. Presently he's almost three pounds and he gave us the best look at his lil pudnum. I know.. in an ultrasound pic... can you really tell? Most days I say, "noooooo" ... today however... I say "Yes!!!!"
As we were getting his measurements, and oohing and ahhing over his little figure, the Tech changed the angle and we watched him playing with his foot, which was adorable ( I know I sound like a over zealous pregnant girl.... *shrugs*). Then as we looked to see his other foot, there it was in all it's shaded, black and white pixelated glory. As one hand was reaching and playing with his foot the other was firmly pressed against my belly, in a near boastful way, he was proudly displaying his big toe. That's right.... his big toe.... sure all the other toes were there.. but if you've ever seen Phil's feet.. you'd have gasped at the sight as well. It's not that his toe is unattractive or oddly disfigured... it just manages to live up to it's name.. as a BIG toe. I took one look at that little foot and before I could say anything the Ultrasound Tech laughed and said, " my goodness look at that big toe!" To which I replied, " he has his daddy's feet that's for sure"... she made sure to take a picture for us... however I was laughing so hard, I think I distorted how well the picture came out. Nonetheless, that toe was so impressioned on my mind... it got me to keys to blog... look at that.. me.. blogging, before he's born! hahahaha
Hopefully, after dinner I'll get my act in gear and get the scanner hooked up and attatch that picture... however, tomorrow is my dad's birthday... so.. it is quite likey that I will get sidetracked... we'll see.
